Following the idea that the young people themselves would be the best to know their own rights and any violations of these rights, young people have an important role in "Your Right, Youth Right!". In order to place young people and youth organisations in the very centre, one group of the main activities of the project, being Local Info Meetings (LIM) will be carried out at the local level by young activists, with the support of LCPs.
In order to carry out the LIMs between October 2014 - January 2015, firstly a pool of activists will be formed and these activists will receive a training. Afterwards, the activists will first organise an info-day (lasting 1 day) with the support of LCPs at the 15 provinces and later on they will be organising a 2-day capacity building training for the youth organisations at local level. This way, both the young activists will have their capacity developed as well as youth organisations at local level through passing the information on to them with a multiplier effect.
You can also become activists!
To learn about your rights and methods to advocate, defend and monitor them in more detail as well as share the know-how with other young people and youth organisations, you also should become a "Your Right, Youth Right!" activist! All you have to do is follow the call for activists, attend the training and cooperate with LCPs in order to organise the LIMs. Further information on the activist training and the requirements to become an activist will be published on our website soon. You may follow our website or social media accounts for the call for activists, requirements and applications.
