With the support of 15 defined Local Contact Points (LCP) during the first year and a total of 30 at the end of the project, the project aims to help the Youth Organisations Forum get organised at the local level in 81 provinces.
The LCPs have an important role in the project; to spread the word about YOF efficiently, carry out work with stakeholders and organise the Local Info Meetings (LIM) with the activists for local youth organisations. In order for the LCPs to get a better and common understanding of the responsibilities and working frames, a preparatory meeting was held in Ankara between July 13-15th 2014. During the meeting, the results of the 4th meeting of YOF was shared as well as having some discussions on youth policy and youth organisations, followed by some basic analyses (SWOT, communication, stakeholder analysis) in each of the 15 cities regarding the situation of youth and youth organisations.
